Thread: AFM Noise Interference

  1. Default AFM Noise Interference

I have been running AFM reverse imaging on a standard grit sample and the results am getting show there is noise interference. I have tried to control all the noise sources and still the results show there is noise interference. Could there be a problem with the AFM and how can i control this?, thank you.Grit_01_0005.ibw

That looks like vibrational noise either from acoustic source or from the building (seismic). Run a noise test and you can see what frequencies have noise spikes.
